Contract Administrator
  • Three-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance
  • Remuneration range $72k - $88K plus super
  • Located in prestigious offices in Barton in the ACT

The opportunity

Our client, an organisation known for its team culture that encourages and inspires excellence, is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person with a strong procurement/ contract co-ordination background whose primary role will be to ensure all contract obligations are met within established policies and procedures; including tracking of milestones, payments and reporting while maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders. You will be reporting to various Managers, and some key aspects of your role will include:

  • Liaising with Managers and relevant stakeholders on day to day matters via phone, e-mail and meetings.
  • Ensuring contract financial administration is carried out effectively.
  • Undertaking the administrative aspects of contract management.
  • Performing an analysis of contract issues arising and inform managers accordingly.
  • Ensuring contract delivery is achieved within agreed time-frames.
  • Manage and record simple inquires against the contract.

What we’re looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and contracting;
  • Qualification in procurement or contracting;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritise;
  • Demonstrated ability to influence positive outcomes;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively autonomously and in a team with people at all levels.

You must be prepared to travel interstate when required, hold a valid Australian Driver’s License and be an Australian Citizen.
