  • This position is ideally located in Adelaide, but for the preferred candidate, a Canberra location will be considered

Kowalski Recruitment (KR) is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated commercialisation manager, with excellent people skills, and formal qualifications in science or agricultural science to place in GRDC and become an integral part of a highly effective team.  While you will be employed by KR you will get to work directly to the Senior Manager, Enabling Technologies, to develop sound business cases for enabling technologies investments and ensure effective, efficient and compliant contract management that aligns with the business’ purpose.  Whether you are looking to further your career or break into the Grains industry this is an unprecedented opportunity for you to do so.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years desirable) in a related industry, including research, plant breeding or life science and tertiary qualifications in Science/Agricultural science, Engineering or Spatial Sciences
  • Experience (5+ years desirable) in project negotiation, facilitation and management of contracts
  • Established ability to develop business cases for investment based on return to stakeholders/shareholders
  • Highly developed presentation, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Strong analytical stills with the ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment
  • Ability to synthesise information and provide and recommend on options

You will need to be an Australian citizen and prepared to travel as and when required.  Experience in agriculture is desirable but not essential.
