About the role:

This company is looking to grow their team through the recruitment of an IT Support Technician and is seeking a driven and enthusiastic candidate with outstanding client service skills who is looking to develop and enhance their skills in IT.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Answer, log and resolve helpdesk requests and technical issues
  •  Maintain effective operation of internal company systems and client systems
  • Ensure security of all systems using the company’s monitoring and management tool set
  • Monitor and maintain client infrastructure including backups, patching levels and hardware
  • Maintain client documentation and reporting as required
  • Test and evaluate new products and systems prior to internal and external deployment
  • Adhere to the company’s operating policies and procedures
  • Contribute to business improvement activities including highlighting any deficiencies, recommending improvements and reporting any breaches
  • Build meaningful relationships with management, clients, external consultants, vendors and agents
  • Participate in a range of I.T. projects including hardware and software deployments, customer onboarding and cloud migrations

About you:

The successful candidate will have;

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Information Technology
  •  Demonstrated experience using Windows Server and Desktop products including Active Directory
  • Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent client service skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take responsibility for issues that arise
  • Knowledge of basic I.T. processes and hardware including email, printers and file sharing
